Château de Béru. The estate belonging to the Counts of Béru since 1627, has remained within the family for over 400 years and the passion for wine making has been handed down from father to daughter. Today, Laurence and her daughter Athénaïs hold the reins and have adopted organic farming methods for the vintages. The five hectare vineyard, dating back to the thirteenth century, produces Chablis and Chablis first growth. The Clos Béru Monopole gives a powerful, round and mineral wine. The first growth Vaucoupin, to be found in the parish of Chichée, is renowned for its delicacy. As for the Chablis 2009 vintage, it reveals hints of minerals and iodine. Guided tours and tastings are available from 15 April until 15 November and by appointment. The ladies of Béru belong to the Women and Wines of Burgundy society. Guest rooms.
