There are four medallions on the facade, framed by two caryatids describing the vine and the olive tree. Eugène Raspail’s family, himself the nephew of the illustrious politician Raspail, is engrained at the heart of this magnificent property surrounded by a park and vines. This is one of the high places in the history of Gigondas wine and Christian and François Meffre have been perpetuating the tradition since 1979 with a line of great wines including the flagship 2009 vintage Château Raspail 2009, gold medallist at Orange.
