One island, some brothers, a great wine.

Description

Island & wine

Discover Saint Honorat Island through the wine production of the Abbey of Lérins! Monks have been living on the island since 405 AD ; still today, the island is inhabited by twenty-one Cistercian monks. Off the coast of Cannes, the island is a site for prayer as well as for vine-growing. The monastic community is involved in the vineyard work and offers visitors a variety of renowned wines and high-quality liquors. The winemaking methods are carefully crafted by the monks of the Abbey of Lérins themselves.
